Strong notes of spice and a mintyness and has the flavours of clove, cinnamon, and anise. Great in salads and top of Pizzas.
We have a full range of traditional fresh herbs available all year round. In the summer season we grow these herbs in our polytunnels and fields and import them in the winter from selected growers.
Amongst our 100 acres of field crops, we have 10 acres of polytunnels which give us an extended season to grow our unique range of baby leaves and speciality herbs. This is done to the highest specification using innovative growing methods and biological controls. Our dedicated growers are committed to producing crops in a natural and environmentally sensitive way.
We grow as much as we can in Yorkshire and cut every day with a 12-hour turnaround. To complement our summer season, we have an established overseas supplier network of quality-controlled growers with GLOBAL GAP accreditation as a minimum standard from Israel, Italy, Spain, Ethiopia and Kenya.
